It was a beautiful June afternoon when Troy and their crew joined us for a Private 4-5 Hour Afternoon Fishing Trip In St. Croix River with Croix Boys Guided Adventures. The weather was perfect, with partly cloudy skies and great water conditions – ideal for some productive fishing on the St. Croix. We met up at 9134 MN-95 and got everyone all set up and ready to go.

As we headed out, the anticipation was high. We decided to try a mix of techniques, including DeepSea, Jigging, and Trolling, to cover different depths and see what the fish were responding to. The action was consistent, with rods bending and lines peeling off, but unfortunately, we just couldn't seem to hook into anything substantial. Though we didn't manage to land any big prize, we still had a great time out on the water, enjoying the scenery and good company.

The afternoon flew by, filled with laughs, strategic discussions, and the constant thrill of the chase. Even without any major catches, the energy on board was fantastic. We launched the boat at 8:00 AM from 9134 MN-95 and wasted no time getting our lines in the water. The water conditions were excellent, with just the right mix of depth and current to target the Walleye. We employed a variety of techniques, including DeepSea fishing, Jigging, and Trolling, to cover different areas of the river and find where the fish were holding.

The action was steady throughout the trip, and we managed to land a nice mix of Walleye. The fish put up a great fight, testing our skills and keeping the excitement high. In between catches, we took in the beautiful St. Croix River scenery and enjoyed the camaraderie of the group. It was just an all-around fantastic morning on the water.
