We went out with Ryan this morning 9/25 and he immediately got us on some sturgeon. My buddy and I both caught 50” sturgeon close to 50lbs. Was such blast, on Ryan was a joy to fish with and was super knowledgeable and fun. I’d recommend anyone in the area to spend a day with him!

We had an awesome morning out on the St. Croix with Captain Ryan and Croix Boys Fishing! We brought our 8-year-old son, 6-year-old daughter, my brother, and his 9-year-old son, and Captain Ryan did a fantastic job keeping everyone engaged and having fun. We caught a little bit of everything: walleye, sauger, catfish, gar, and LOTS of sheephead. 😂 Let’s just say the sheephead were definitely the most committed to biting! The kids had a blast, we caught plenty of fish, and most importantly, we made some great memories together. Captain Ryan was great with the kids, knowledgeable about the river, and made the whole morning easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend Croix Boys Fishing for a family charter. We’ll definitely be back!

Ryan went out of his way to help my husband go fishing; we met at the boat ramp in Hudson, WI. He helped him in the boat with another buddy he brought along. He is a very enthusiastic, compassionate person. Ryan was very knowledgeable on where to go to get the fish. We caught two walleyes and two saugers to have for supper. I would recommend Croix Boy Guided Adventures for a great time fishing!

We fished with Ryan yesterday 8/20 I took my two grandsons. We had a terrific time. One grandson caught a 36” Northern Pike and my other grandson caught his first Channel Cat. I highly recommend Ryan great with kids, he has an Awsome boat. You will not be disappointed.

We had such a great time with Ryan on the St Croix. He was fun, knowledgeable, attentive and we all got to catch fish! Some of us were inexperienced and others had been fishing their whole lives and we all had so much fun!! I highly recommend Croix Boys!!

Ryan provided an awesome day on the water for our family. We actually took the maiden trip on the new Hewes Craft which was comfortable, stable and full of space for all of us to fish. Ryan is so energetic and enthusiastic, hard to not have fun even when the bite was slow. That said, we came home with a bag full of walleye and plenty of excitement never knowing what’s on the other end of the line include a dandy. A great experience for the family and fish lover alike. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed the time. We’ll be back. Thanks.

Ryan with Croix Boys Fishing Guides was awesome! Took my dad (who is visiting from abroad) and my husband out on the St. Croix and we had such a great time. We caught over two dozen fish- lots of different species and plenty of walleye to bring home and cook up. I’m a total beginner and he made everything very simple to understand, comfortable, and really fun, especially trolling. He’s very friendly, patient, and enthusiastic. He even filleted all the fish for us at the end and took photos, which was such a nice bonus. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide, I highly recommend booking with him if you’re on the river!
